Programs for Every Age
MPSC organizes players by age and developmental stage, so training always matches where a player actually is — not just how old they are.
Players build core technical and tactical skills in an environment that emphasizes decision-making, creativity, and good sportsmanship.
A more advanced environment where players refine their skills, learn systems of play, and compete at a higher level — with a focus on commitment, teamwork, and leadership.
How an MPSC Year Works
MPSC runs on a two-season annual cycle, with tryouts held once a year for every age group.
Step 1 — Tryouts
(Late Summer)
Every returning and new player tries out. Teams are placed by age and developmental stage.
Step 2 — Fall Season
(August–October)
Weekly practices and weekend games, plus tournament and friendly-match opportunities.
Step 3 — Winter Training
(Off-Season)
Skill sessions and conditioning to keep players sharp between the fall and spring seasons.
Step 4 — Spring Season
(April–June)
A second full season of games and practices — before the cycle begins again with tryouts.
What Families Can Expect
Certified, background-checked coaches
Every team is led by coaches using age-appropriate, evidence-based training methods reviewed by our Director of Coaching. Coaches and board members complete a background check through the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association.
Safety-first practices
MPSC follows KidSafe risk-management guidelines from US Youth Soccer, including concussion-awareness training for coaches and mandated heading and build-out-line rules for younger age groups.
League-affiliated competition
Younger MPSC teams compete in the Mid-Michigan Youth Soccer League (MMYSL); older teams play in the Michigan State Premier Soccer Program (MSPSP). The club is affiliated with Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA), the state governing body.
A community, not just a club
MPSC has been a nonprofit fixture of Central Michigan youth soccer since 1999, run by a volunteer board of parents and community members who care about the same thing you do — a good experience for your player.

Cost information
- U10 and under – $550
- U11 – U12 – $675
- U13 and up – $975
Scholarships and Payment Plans are available
(Tryouts are free, fees are only needed for placement on a team)

- Returning players
- You already have an account. When you get to the log-in page use the email address you used to register your player last year. If you need to reset your password, select forgot password (if needed). Follow the prompts to retrieve your login.
- New Players
- If you are new to MP Soccer Club this year, you will need to create a new account, using the same link above.
- Once you have created your account, you as a parent will select – “I’m registering my child or someone else”
- Registrants Name is the Players Name
- Please provide the most up-to-date information
- While there is no fee for tryouts, you must proceed through the cart to complete the registration process. Please follow the prompts to Checkout to finish registering (do not skip these steps)
